Our Approach
Beyond Healthcare Inc provide quality Nursing Support Services to the participants served. Prior to receiving this service, each participant will have preauthorization from DDA and such authorization will also be documented in the participant’s person-centered plan (PCP). Nursing support services will also incorporate staff supervision, staff training, and staff education on all nursing assessments done for the participants served.
Beyond Healthcare Inc.Nursing Support Services provides a Delegating nurse, licensed in the State of Maryland, to perform Nursing Consultation, Health Case Management, and Delegation services, based on the participant’s assessed need.
Scope
- Review of the participant’s health needs, including I. Health care services and supports that the participant currently receives; and i. The participant’s health records, including any physician orders
- Performance of a comprehensive nursing assessment.
- Clinical review of the participant’s Health Risk Screening Tool (HRST), per Department policy and
- Completion of the Medication Administration Screening Tool, per Department policy.
Need Assessment
Our need assessments help us to determine the following:
- The participant’s health needs require the performance of nursing tasks, including medication administration.
- The participant’s nursing tasks are delegable per the Maryland Board of Nursing’s regulations, and
- The participant’s nursing tasks are exempt from delegation following the Maryland Board of Nursing’s regulations.
